I thought I would post a few of my pics from this.  These are more about the hunt than the camaraderie around the fire at night. IMG_0031.jpg  IMG_0043.jpg  IMG_0039.jpg  IMG_0041.jpg  IMG_0034.jpg

Cool looking country.
This is what happens when you surprise your menopausal wife with news about your next hunting trip and she happens to be a former kick boxing champ of NC....

Such nice pictures. I hope to do this hunt in a next year or two. I've never hunted Mule Deer

Nice photos.  I was hunting a bit north of you - perhaps connect with you guys this next year.

Great photos! How do you put on a stalk in all that catlaw and thorny stuff?!

Like any other stalk, slow and easy, keep the wind in your face.  It's more open than it looks.  I find the ground to be much louder than the vegatation.  This year was wet so stalking was easier.

Great photos MP. Glad you posted them.

Stalk deer? Go slow and then slow down. Wear the thinnest sole footwear you can live with, you need to feel those stones.

Great looking deer and country.  What was your camera setup? They look like they are already in range but I know if that were the case a stick would already have been sent.
